Car Battery Jumper Cables Description

Car battery jumper cables, also known as booster cables, are essential tools used to start a vehicle with a dead or weak battery by connecting it to a fully charged battery, usually from another car. These cables consist of two insulated wires, each with a pair of clamps at both ends, which connect to the positive and negative terminals of the battery.

How to Use:

1. Turn off both vehicles: Ensure both cars are turned off before connecting the cables.
2. Connect the Positive Clamp: Attach the red (positive) clamp to the positive terminal of the dead battery.
3. Connect the Negative Clamp: Attach the black (negative) clamp to a metal part of the engine block or an unpainted metal surface on the car with the dead battery (not to the negative terminal of the dead battery).
4. Connect to the Donor Car: Attach the other end of the jumper cables to the donor vehicle's battery.
5. Start the Donor Car: Let the donor car run for a few minutes to charge the dead battery.
6. Start the Dead Car: After a few minutes, try starting the car with the dead battery.
